Game Designer in Residence Program
Our game designer in residence program is an integral part of the MICA Game Lab. This one-year teaching / research appointment is a unique opportunity for a designer to work closely with our students, research lab, and the larger MICA community over the course of the academic year.
The resident teaches 2 courses per semester and is expected to complete a game or other play-based project during the course of the residency. This position was created for designers who are creating cutting edge work in the field and want to gain further teaching experience.
The first game designer in residence has been chosen for the 17-18 academic year, but we will begin a new search starting in September so if you are interested in applying please join our mailing list below or check the MICA Faculty Postings in the Fall.
