We were lucky to have the designers and advocates at Intelligent Mischief visit us and host a world building workshop focused on looking at immersive design through the critical lens of race. The workshop brought, high-school students, community members, students and faculty together to build and discuss a more just, playful world.

Workshop Description

Coming off of success of the Marvel/Disney Blockbuster “The Black Panther” many fans wondered out loud “How can we make Wakanda real?” We invite participants to co-construct with us a series of Wakanda like experiences and learn how to incorporate a Critical Race Design lens to your immersive design world building.
